Do you have rib pain?
Rib pain can be incredibly painful, especially when it limits your breathing.
Common causes of rib pain:
Costochondritis or costosternal pain (rib-sternum joint)
Costotransverse or costovertebral pain (rib-spine joint)
Intercostal muscle spasm & nerve compression
Referral from the spine
What you can do:
Try some shoulder, back and abdominal stretches.
Breathing exercises in a comfortable position (try either laying on your back, or in child’s pose).
Heat can relieve muscle and joint pain (try a heat pack or a hot shower).
