Hip & Groin Pain

Do you have pain around the outside and back of your hip, or in your groin?

Does it hurt when you run, or sit in a low chair?

Common causes of hip & groin pain:

What you can do:

Hip pain can be caused by many different issues, each requiring a different treatment approach.

  • Reduce high impact activity, like running and jumping

  • Keep moving in ways that aren’t painful; possibly swimming or walking.

  • Book in for a physiotherapy assessment to identify the source of your hip pain.

What we can do for you:

  • Assess your pain or injury to understand what you should do and what you shouldn’t do.

  • Organise scans or referrals if needed.

  • Release the muscles around your hip to provide more mobility and less pain.

  • Provide a specific exercise program to get your hip joint and muscles strong.
